Two new Moshi Monsters Games Coming in Autumn

Mind Candy, developers of Moshi Monsters, announced that two new games in their popular virtual pet raising game will be released later this year.

Kids love animals. It’s one of the few reasons why Zoos exist is so kids can see exotic animals that might be a little too close for comfort. Before video games parents might get their kids some pets to play with, but tending to them could be expensive and there might be issues with allergies. However virtual pets, not being a new video game in history, easily solves this since games came on LCD screens. Mind Candy was able to prove this with their successful brand of Moshi Monsters, a virtual pet raising game available online and mobile devices. Now there will be two new Moshi Monsters games coming this year, giving players more options to pamper their monsters or play in a card game.

The first one, Moshi Monsters: Village sounds like the previous version of Moshi Monster but brought into 3D. Players will be given the freedom to design their own town in Pawberry fields, presumably building their own shops and attractions for their favorite Moshlings. However some of the creatures were captured by the evil Dr. Strangeglove, and the player will have to go through various challenges to get them back!

The second game is Moshi Monsters: Lost Islands. Every Moshling is printed onto virtual cards that players build decks from. The player uses these cards to solve various puzzles presented in the game. Solving these puzzles give players more cards, allowing them to explore the uncharted regions of this new island.

At least parents won’t have to worry about whether their kids will be a potential meal for a hungry lioness with Moshi Monsters. The game also has an aesthetic that is suitable for six to twelve year olds with each Moshling having giant, Anime-style eyes and cartoon-like body structure. So far the only threat this game might provide is if the kids have to take on two feminine characters working with a talking anthropomorphic cat that is trying to steal their electric mouse.
