New Super Mario Bros 2 for the Nintendo 3DS will be arriving in August 2012.
Princess Peach has once again been captured but Mario may be too enthralled in a new objective; Collecting gold coins.
Every level will have many gold coins to collect, which will fall from pipes, and special golden fallen enemies caused by collecting golden rings.
Entering gold pipes will lead you to a special portion of the level, offering a rush of gold goins to collect.
A special golden flower will also give Mario the ability to turn pretty much anything he shoots into coins.
You will be tracked by how many you collect throughout Super Mario Bros 2, so completing levels isn’t all the game is about.
Racoon Mario will make an apperance, which will allow him to get to secret locations for even more goodies.
Super Mario Bros 2 will be available to purchase in shops, or as a digital download via the Nintendo E-Shop.
