It may seem like a lifetime since Professor’s last outing on the 3DS, but Puzzle fans will be more than pleased to hear that Layton’s back.
Following up on 2012’s ‘Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask,’ Level-5 are set to unleash unmatched bafflement across Europe on the 8th November. ‘Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy’ comes equipped with access to 500 brainteasers, and looks to continue the streak of quality that we’ve come to expect from Level 5’s undisputed King of Puzzles. After receiving a letter from a fellow archaeologist, regarding a girl frozen in Ice, assistant’s Luke and Emmy are set to travel alongside the Professor to the frozen landscape of Froenborg by Airship, tasked with unearthing the unknown secrets surround the ancient Azran civilization. Fans of the series will be treated to an initial 150 riddles, brain-teasers and interactive puzzles in the Professor’s final outing, and then will receive 365 puzzles every day of the next year following the launch.
The events of ‘Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy’ follow 2012’s ‘Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask’ and will be the sixth and final title of the series, with guaranteed twists and revelations regarding both the past and future of Professor Layton. Additionally, ‘Professor Layton and The Azran Legacy’ will feature 3 brand new mini-games: ‘Dress Up,’ ‘Nut Roller,’ and ‘Blooms and Shrooms.’
