Temple Run 2 Review

Temple Run 2 Review
Temple Run 2 plays very much like the original game, with the basic premise being identical to the original Temple Run. You play as an explorer who was raiding a temple , until he was chased by a massive skeleton monkey. You need to control the explorer as he runs away from the massive monkey collecting coins along the way and dodging obstacles. You dodge obstacles by either tilting your device to move out of the way or using various directional swipes to slide or jump. Overall the game controls really well, and is very responsive. The main goal is to see how long you can keep running and collecting points all to gain the highest score and this has a very addictive quality. I really need to mention how good the graphics look. Temple Run 2 really looks spectacular for a mobile game. it runs very smoothly and all the character models are really smooth and crisp. It's a standout game for iOS in the way of visuals. Temple Run 2 has an pretty good lifespan. The gameplay has a seriously addictive quality that will keep you playing for ages. You will be constantly driven to keep playing so you can try to beat your last score. Competing with friends to try and beat each other's scores adds another layer of addictive quality. Taking turns on the same phone with a friend seeing who can get the farthest is incredibly fun. However the game doesn't have much variety and will eventually become boring as the play sessions tend to play out the same way every time. The paid features of Temple Run 2 are really well set out. None of the paid features in the game are  only obtainable through spending real money. The aforementioned coins you can collect can be used to purchase character skins, powerups and upgrades. Spending real money will make the process of unlocking these features a lot quicker, but you never really need to. There is one more type of item you can get in Temple Run 2; gems. Gems allow you to continue running through the level if you have died. initially it will cost 1 gem to continue, but with each consecutive death it will go up by 1. This system means there is some pay to win problems. A player could realistically spend $21 on gems and get a really huge score just because they can constantly revive themselves. Overall Temple Run 2 is a standout mobile game  and if you haven't downloaded it already, you're doing something wrong. Temple Run 2 is available for free on both iOS and Android. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoBDoqSBR1c
