More importantly, Zombie Studios also revealed that a PlayStation Plus subscription will not be required for download –this means everyone can join in the fun.
“We are really excited to show off Blacklight: Retribution for PS4 this year at Gamescom,” said Studio Director Jared Gerritzen from Zombie Studios. “After acquiring the global console license earlier this Spring we are thrilled to reveal our work on PS4, and we know that fans of the franchise and newcomers alike will love it as much as we do”.

Writers Opinion
We have been seeing a vast improvement in character development in recent gaming. The Walking Dead, Bioshock Infinite, The Last of us, and even games like Spec Ops: The Line have all pushed the boundaries of what we should expect in character writing. Most western rpgs, and even games like Heavy Rain have also pushed character interaction and the impact of our choices.
Although I have never indulged myself too deep in the Sims series, I am very interested to see where EA takes the character development. It’s a part of gaming that has really improved over the years, and there are many games coming out that will most likely continue to raise the bar before this game is released. The Sims 4 can prove to move character development/interaction in even more dynamic ways, and I hope the developers seize the opportunity they have with this game. The Sims is a social series, and I think it should not only live up to the standards of what has been accomplished, but also exceed them.
