Plants vs Zombies Update Released

PopCap has announced an update to their widely played Plants vs Zombies. I know, I know, this is the update we’ve all been waiting for. There really isn’t enough in terms of zombie content these days, so I’m glad to see the industry paying attention to this criminally underserved market. I mean, yeah, there’s that TV show, and Left 4 Dead, and Resident Evil, and that new ga...

Australian Filmmaker Wade K. Savage is making a film based on the Fallout: New Vegas universe, Fallout: Lanius. Savage and his team are seeking $10,000 to fund their take on the title. They’ve launched a campaign on indiegogo.com, and so far they have about $1,000. If any video game would work well as an adaptation, it would be Fallout. Most video game movies in the 90’s were awful, bu...

New Tracks Revealed for We Sing 80’s

Nordic Games, developer of the We Sing games, has released seven more tracks from their upcoming We Sing 80’s title. Their really stringing us along, aren’t they? As an industry expert, I can tell you that fully half of all money in the business goes towards title research. They all want buzzwords that are “hip” with the kids. And they really use the word “hip” with the quotes around it. They us...

The series will have a total of five episodes created “by top Hollywood talent from film, television and new media.” So that’s sufficiently vague. Top Hollywood talent could mean anyone from Brad Pi...

Granny Smith Game on iOS and Android

Granny Smith is now available for purchase in the iOS and Android stores for $0.99. If the title doesn’t give it away, the game is about apples and old people. Great combination. Kids these days are really into healthy food and respecting their elders. Back in my day, you could go to a fast food establishment and order junk food without finding out how many calories you would consume. And kids did...

Outdoors Unleashed: Africa 3D Coming to the 3DS

Outdoors Unleashed: Africa 3D is being released on the 3DS through the Nintendo eShop for $3.99. We all love shooters, and I know this because this is what advertising tells me and advertisements are always right. But are you tired of shooting human beings, aliens, and zombies all of the time? Well, don’t tell any major game publisher that because that will ruin this game they play where they thro...
